Dear FEA Members,
Last week, we sent out sign ups for actions that need to be done to help at negotiations. 4 people out of over 500 signed up.
We hear you loud and clear. You do not want these canvasses to be about Yes on 2. They’re not. We’ve taken that piece away from our members. Canvassing is to get us out in the community so that people know what we do every day and what we deal with due to the lack of financial and community support in our schools. FEA Board members, Negotiations Members, and anyone interested in the CAT team please sign up for at least 2 canvasses (they are ONE HOUR) and one meeting. Please bring a friend.
We need to be seen in the community, sharing information. We need to be a presence at meetings. We are important to this town. Together, we need to show – as one voice – why education matters here in Franklin. This is the beginning of our negotiations preparation. Get involved. WE are the ones who will benefit.
